Great Ron & Bill! If someone from West shows up, it'll be an even competition. Ron, we still need to get the breakfast club cranking! I think everyone that's our age (retired) looks at the thermometer and crawls back under the warm covers in the mornings. I know I do, go out to get the paper, let the dog run, crawl back in bed to read the paper, and get another hour's sleep. When you don't have anything to rush out to (except a Dr's apt.)these days, no need to get in a hurry.

Hi Grady, I didn't recognize the F/B moniker, but of course recognize the name. Glad to have you joining us again! What are you cruising in this year? I know you driving something cool! Warm weather can't get here soon enough. See you in April.

Homie, IT IS A 385 FAST BURNER, not a 285.

Homie, I have not figured out this new message board, but I do want to commend you on this great event. I can't believe it's been 9 years. I think I have made it twice from Alabama. I just wish I had a cool car like the one I had in high school, a baby blue 1963 Dodge Dart, 4-door, slant six, push button transmission (are you salivating?) Yeah, I acted like it was Mom's car (else I would be raped) Well, that's the way it was on the westside. At least now, I'm not looked on like some Greek God, just a boy toy...so sick of that. Please, if you must, look into my character, my inner most sensitive thoughts, (oh, god, I'm doing it again) Never mind. See you at the King.

Hi Ted, So glad to hear that you will be joining us again. I will check out my contacts to see if we can't just rent a Dodge Dart (4 door, of course) just for the day! No one would recognize it for the rust, and we may have to have it towed in! Earlier that AM would be best, so as not to embarrass you over the maximum limits. Will have to bring a transistor radio to put on the dash, or better yet hang from the rear view mirror, as I know that yours had to be a radio delete Dart! No one that bought a Dart could actually throw in for a radio. I know Basil will be there just to re-live the moment! Only Gary Downer's ride may compete with the attention you would receive in an old Dart. Once again, looking forward to the gathering, and thankful for the interest from all the Harding & West Meck friends. IN THE BOND! -Homie
